Valentine’s Day Romance Inducing Dinner Ideas
Candle lit dinners are already standard Valentine’s Day practices for romantic events so this year try something a bit different. The party who sets everything up will be sure to get an appropriate response from his other half. But for those who want to make a Valentine’s Day dinner even more romantic, you can follow these romance making tips:
Pick a new location
While going out to a fancy restaurant on Valentine’s Day can be great, a more romantic setting might prove a different part of your house. Instead of using the usual kitchen table, try to use the one in the dinner room. You could also move a table outside and dinner there, if the weather is not very cold. Dinner in bed can also be a nice experience. Strike up a fire if you can and really set the mood.
Change the theme
Your special dinner can become even more romantic if you’d just design everything using your love’s favourite theme. You can do it the simple way or extravagantly pompous way, if you have the money. You can create a Victorian style dinner with lots of candles in candlestick and beautiful crystal glasses, dishes and whatnot. Or you can create a Chinese fantasy using a red tablecloth and golden and silver elements on the table.
In this case, it’s very important that you know what your loved one’s dream style is. Try enlisting her parents, friends and relatives, who can all help you find out what she really likes.
Add more luxury
Although candles are a good starting point to romance up your Valentine’s Day dinner, you can go even further in the luxury department. You could use a candelabra instead of a pair of candlesticks. Or you could try to hang flowers and the candles from the ceiling in a beautiful holder. Imagination and money are the only limits here.
Almost all women inexplicably love flowers. You could use that to your advantage and put up beautiful flowers and bouquets in the right places and spread rose petals on the floor. But don’t overdo it so that it looks like a field of rose pedals.
Other methods of increasing the romance level of your dinner include using silverware and crystal glasses, pretty tablecloths, dimmed lights and soft, nice music. All of these things can be brought together to create a Valentine’s dinner filled with romance and love that will be hard for her to forget. Splurge on a nice bottle of wine and have a local bakery make a special dessert for you and your partner and you will make this Valentine’s Day the best yet.
